Proud of its strong tradition of academic excellence, which is reflected in its success in the HSC and School Certificate, the school is confidently preparing students to meet the social and vocational challenges of the 21st century.
We welcome new students from overseas to study at our school, for the School Certificate and the Higher School Certificate. This helps to enrich the cultural mix within our local, comprehensive, coeducational, public school.

Promoting Excellence
- Gifted and talented student programs - academic, sporting, music
- Extension classes in the Junior school and extension courses in the senior school.
- Acceleration programs for academically gifted students, including our French program.
Promoting Creativity
- Instrumental music – Senior and intermediate concert bands, Chamber music ensemble, Woodwind ensemble, Guitar ensemble, drama and musical productions. (concerts, music camps, and band tours – both local and overseas)
- International day, art exhibitions, and music spectaculars, annual short film festival
- Interschool debating and public speaking competitions

- Traditionally over 50% of our HSC cohort attends university, compared to approximately 32% across the state of NSW
