Friday mornings
7.35 - 8.45am

Students who play violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe or clarinet (who are able to transpose from a C part) are welcome to join. It is expected that students are having regular tuition on their instrument to be involved in the ensemble. Students may be required to auditions for parts, to ensure everyone is enjoying a positive musical experience. The Chamber Ensemble performs a range of repertoire from early Renaissance, through the more traditional Classic chamber pieces and then also includes Latin, Popular and even some current charts.

Wednesday mornings

Guitar Ensemble is limited to 12 members, and so greater interest may require auditions. Rehearsals encourage reading music, tablature and using both finger picking and strumming techniques.
